Cookie Policy

Effective date: March 7, 2026  ·  Last updated: March 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies Satisphy uses, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to the site owner.

Cookies can be:

  • Session cookies: Temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies: Cookies that remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
  • First-party cookies: Set directly by the website you are visiting (in this case, satisphy.io).
  • Third-party cookies: Set by a domain other than the website you are visiting, typically by embedded services such as payment processors.

2. How We Use Cookies

Satisphy uses a minimal number of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral profiling cookies of any kind. We use only what is strictly necessary to provide the service.

3. Cookies We Set

The following first-party cookies are set by Satisphy:

Cookie NameTypePurposeDuration
satisphy_tokenEssentialStores your authentication token to keep you logged in to your account. Without this cookie, you would need to log in every time you visit.7 days

This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled without preventing you from using Satisphy.

4. Third-Party Cookies

When you click a subscription button, you are redirected to a Lemon Squeezy hosted checkout page. Lemon Squeezy (VitalSource Technologies, LLC) may set cookies on their domain during this process to manage your checkout session, prevent fraud, and process your payment. These cookies are set by Lemon Squeezy, not by Satisphy, and are governed by Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy.

Satisphy does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or any other third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

5. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, Satisphy may use your browser's local storage to save your preferences within the simulator — such as your last-used color settings or control panel layout. This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. It is not a cookie and cannot be used to identify you.

6. Your Choices and How to Manage Cookies

Because Satisphy only uses strictly necessary cookies, there is no cookie consent banner — we are not required to obtain consent for cookies that are essential to the operation of the service under most privacy frameworks, including GDPR (Recital 47) and the ePrivacy Directive.

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored on your device.
  • Delete cookies individually or all at once.
  • Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.
  • Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies.

Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:

Please note: Deleting or blocking the satisphy_token cookie will log you out of your account. You will need to log back in on your next visit.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because Satisphy does not engage in cross-site tracking, advertising, or behavioral profiling, our service does not change its behavior based on DNT signals — we already do not track you in those ways.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if we introduce new features that require additional cookies. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, notify you by email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

9. Contact
